| It is the holiday season and I am trying to be the best uncle I can be. This year I did something different and asked my nephews what they wanted for Christmas instead of guessing.

| Friday - Went shopping, stressed out about work and used that stress as an excuse to eat bad.
2012 - I will probably gain another pound or so and use all of 2012 trying to lose that extra weight.

| I am originally from Hilo but am living on Oahu right now. Many times, friends will ask me what is good to bring back from Hilo as omiyage or what is good to do when in Hilo. Well here is my list (in no particular order) of stuff to get from the Island of Hawaii and stuff to do from someone who has lived there most of his life.

| This post covers a very important topic. Emergency preparedness. I have been reading "Suck it, Wonder Woman!: The Misadventures of a Hollywood Geek" By Olivia Munn. It is a very entertaining book that so far has made me laugh, cry, and fear. Fear what you may ask? Well, there is a very important chapter that covers the invasion. Yeah, everyone thinks they are prepared for the invasion but are you really?

| A couple of years ago, I went with a couple of friends to Little Seoul restaurant. It is behind WalMart Keaaumoku on Sheridan Street. Its a small little restaurant but it is rarely busy.
We were handed some menus and right away we notice a menu item that caught us by surprise - SEASONED SILK WORM LARVAE. The waitress walked over to our table to ask us if we had any questions. Of course we asked if they really served silk worm larvae. She said yes so (of course) we ordered it.
